Karen’s picture aboveKaren’s picture aboveKaren’s picture aboveI had the best time shooting Brett and Rick’s wedding at the Olde Gahanna Sanctuary last month. It was such a fabulous affair!  They were super elegant and happy to tie the knot in front of their friends and families. This couple  was not just the sweetest, they were also made for each other. Everything was awesome about this wedding!  The choir, bands, speeches, and did I mention they had a drag Queen showing up at the reception? Well, she was amazing and so was all the love I witnessed. We started the celebrations with a short portrait session with the grooms at Creekside Park.  The ceremony was warm and their guests enjoyed the choir and the cutest slide show. Everybody was excited already but during the cocktail hour The Capital Pride band  showed up to fire up the crowd. The reception was so cool with delicious food , another band and, of course, the coolest drag Queen. The jokes were hilarious and the speeches were touching. I couldn’t be happier to be part of this wedding. Many thanks to Karen Evans who second shot for me and Al for helping me with this adorable wedding. Thank you Rick and Brett for allowing me to be part of your fantastic day!

German Village | Wedding

Maggie and Chris’ wedding was such a sweet and happy event. They were so in love and there were so many happy tears during this small but fabulous wedding.  Maggie choose to get ready at the Loft Hotel and she was stunning on her wedding dress. The ceremony and reception happened at Lindey’s restaurant at German Village and couldn’t be more perfect. I had a great time doing their portraits and capturing candid shots during the day. They couldn’t be happier and more relaxed. It was a pleasure to work with them and see how their friends and family just adore them. Thank you to my lovely husband Al who helped with this wedding and made my day even more enjoyable. I wish all the happiness to Maggie and Chris!

Halloween Themed | Backyard Wedding

Mandy and Thomas had an intimate and sweet backyard wedding and I was so lucky to be there. The bride wanted a Halloween themed wedding and it was really adorable! This super good looking couple met at the runway and have been in love since! Mandy was so gorgeous and I just adored her dress and glamorous make up. Thomas was a dapper groom to say the least and it was such a pleasure to take their portraits. They are really perfect together and it was awesome to witness the love they have for each other. Their wedding was fun and I wish them all the happiness in the world!

Perfect Destination | Wedding

To call Andie and Thomas’ destination wedding  amazing would be an  understatement! This was literally a perfect wedding! There was laughter and tears,  so much happiness and love. I know this family for a long time and couldn’t for Andie and Tom’s wedding day. I was so excited to see everybody, my former brides and grooms, their kids and new babies, also all familiar faces that I miss so much.  It was great to spend the weekend at Susan and Ed’s beautiful house. This family knows how to throw a great party! It was also awesome to meet Andie’s family and spend the weekend celebrating this terrific couple. Andie and Thomas are  a beautiful pair, super easy on the eyes and very sweet and cool. There are so many lovely details I want to talk about this wedding like how Niki, the bride’s sister,  designed and sew her stunning dress! How Andie and Thomas are loved by everybody that know them and how much they adore to share their life with the cutest dog in the world Winnie. We started the day with a surprise already! Bride and Groom had their mini secret wedding at the doll’s house at Andie’s parents backyard. I don’t need to say how cute that was! Soon after they signed the papers at the backyard bride and groom got all ready for their ceremony. Their pastor was a good friend of the family and the wedding  was very sweet! We had some time for portraits after that and then the party was so much fun! But I should stop talking and show the pictures! Andie and Thomas it was such a pleasure to work with you and I wish you guys all the happiness in the world! I’m sure we will see you again! Much love to you guys!

Backyard Wedding | Columbus Ohio

Alicia and Jake had a beautiful backyard wedding in Columbus and I was so lucky  to capture their celebration. What an amazing day it was! The lovely bride is also a hairdresser and it was the cutest thing to see her making sure Jake was picture perfect during the getting ready.  As soon as she had her wedding dress on, we did their first look right there in the backyard and it was  adorable. Alicia was stunning and Jake was dapper and ready for their portraits.  I had a great time shooting their portraits before the ceremony.  The reception was fun and it was so great to see Alicia and Jake surrounded by the love of their family and friends. I love shooting backyard weddings and this was a precious one! Thank you Alicia and Jake for making me part of your day, I wish you a life of happiness!!!
