Aruba Wedding

By Eunice Montenegro –  Wedding Photographer from Columbus Ohio

Robyn and Tom had such a fun wedding in Aruba. They tied the knot in a emotional and fun ceremony by the pool. This  handsome couple lives in Philadelphia and they were so relaxed and in love. The celebration started with a super animated rehearsal dinner, everybody had a great time. The wedding day was amazing. Kaley and Tommy, the couple’s kids, were so excited and happy. It was so cool to see this brand new family jump in the pool during the reception. What an awesome party. I was so happy to be part of Robyn and Tom’s special day. I wish them all the happiness.

Welcoming Cameron!

I had the most wonderful time photographing the birth of Cameron Steven Cunningham.  Photographing a birth was in my plans since we moved to Columbus, Ohio, and I was so happy that Nicole and Ryan agreed in having me there to document their first birth. It was such an emotional moment for me and it is beyond exciting see a baby being born.  Nicole and Ryan decided to have a home birth, and with the help of three midwifes: Kelley, Tanya, and Jessica. The ladies were great and brought all their expertise and experience to make this birth peaceful and as painless as possible.  Nicole endured 16 hours of labor, in the end she was very tired but overjoyed to deliver an adorable nine pound baby boy.  Jacob, this handsome boxer, was with us pretty much all the time and he was as excited as the rest of us. I loved every moment of this birth! Nicole was so brave and she did an amazing job. Ryan couldn’t be a prouder  father and Jake was there to share the happiness of this brand new family. I don’t need to point that Cameron is a cutie pie and it will be forever in my heart.  I did share a tear or two of happiness during this birth, it was magical and feel so excited to be able to share those pictures. Thank you Nicole, Ryan and Jake for allowing me to capture the moment that will change your life forever! Thank to the midwifes from Choice -The Center for Humane Options in Childbirth Experience

Hi Eunice,
What a wonderful job you did in photographing Nicole giving birth! Your work was very tastfully done while capturing the pain as well as the joy of giving birth. I like the B&W imagery along with your use of subtle lighting in the shoot. The facial expressions are wonderful. Thank you for such a fantastic artistic expression and for sharing.

Black and White wedding photos are always in style

I love black and white wedding pictures because they are always current. Love never gets out of style, but decoration, fashion and some photoshop treatments may date your wedding. That is why I advise my clients to print and use a lot of black and white pictures on theirs wedding albums. It is safe, classic and beautiful. I  give to my wedding clients a black and white version of each color picture, in this way they have a lot of options the piece of mind that their wedding pictures will be in style for years to come.

Romantic Wedding

by:Columbus,oh,photographer

Sarah and Matt had such a romantic wedding surrounded by beauty, joy and love. I wanted to share some pictures of the rehearsal because the light was so great and I was so happy to see all their friends and family getting ready for their big day. I don’t need to say Sarah and Matt have wonderful family and friends who helped them organized and plan this super cool wedding. The ceremony was framed by an amazing lake and it was such an emotional and happy event.

Those pebbles in the chairs were mementos collected during the couple’s trips. During the ceremony they asked the guests to hold the stones, make a wish and trow them into the lake for good luck. It was a nice touch and with the sound of the wonderful music performed by Sarah’s dad, aunt and uncle there was not a dry eye in the audience. But those were tears of pure joy. Thank you Sarah and Matt for being so kind and including me in your amazing day. I wish you guys many, many years of happiness.

Peggy’s Cove adorable wedding

Jenn and Sean had such a lovely wedding in Peggy’s Cove, NS . They tied the knot at the beautiful Oceanstone Resort and I was so glad I was there to capture their love.  I couldn’t imagine a most perfect place to say farewell to lovely Nova Scotia that was my home for the last three years. The celebrations started with a sing-along around the bonfire. I have to say that Sean and Jenn have many talented friends and family. It was really fun to sing with this couple, and hearing Sean declare his love to Jenn singing Unchained Melody was priceless. I can’t talk about Jenn and Sean’s wedding without mentioning amazing Riley. She is such a cute and enthusiastic dog, who was a pleasure to meet; it was a very fun wedding full of love and happy moments. This wedding was framed by one of most beautiful places in the maritime; Peggy’s Cove and Ocean Stone Seaside Resort, with their friendly and awesome staff. It is definitely on my list of the best resorts in the Province! Thank you so much to this beautiful couple, I wish you, and your great family and friends all the happiness in the world.

Eunice, it was so much fun watching you work. It seemed that no matter where I found myself, I’d turn around and there you were snapping photos of something. You managed to capture in your images, the aura of that whole delightful weekend. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I hope that Columbus will be just as captivating as Nova Scotia.
